Since yesterday, there have been several media reports that a cheating case was filed against popular writer-filmmaker Kona Venkat. The case was said to be filed by a person named RV Prasad, the director of Gemini FX, who reportedly alleged that Kona Venkat had taken Rs 13.5 lakhs promising him a story which he never delivered.

Soon after the news went viral, RV Prasad today refuted the same in a letter written to Kona Venkat. RV Prasad told Kona Venkat that the entire issue is a clear case of miscommunication. Prasad has also clarified that an amicable settlement was previously done between both the parties.
