Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan is set to appear as a ruthless baddie in Kalki 2898 AD, releasing on June 27, 2024. Meanwhile, his other movie, Indian 2, where he plays the main lead, has been in the news due to rumours of postponement.
However, the overseas distributors have confirmed that the sequel to the 90s blockbuster Indian is still on track to release on July 12, 2024, firmly dismissing the internet rumours.
The film stars Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Siddharth, SJ Surya, Bobby Simha, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Brahmanandam, and Samuthirakani. Produced by Lyca Productions in collaboration with Red Giant Movies, Indian 2 promises to be a cinematic extravaganza. Anirudh Ravichander is the composer.
