Telangana Chief Minister KCR has requested Tollywood filmmakers to come up with films that will highlight the importance of farmers. Yesterday, a large contingent comprising of producers, directors, lyricists, script writers etc met KCR over lunch.
Addressing the film fraternity, KCR said that movies and art forms should portray the lifestyle and greatness of farmers, while simultaneously highlighting the government’s welfare schemes and rehabilitative policies for farmers.
