Satya Dev’s Rao Bahadur, backed by Superstar Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar under GMB Entertainment in collaboration with A+S Movies and Sri Chakraas Entertainments, has generated interest among movie buffs with its unique content and promotional material. The movie is slated for release on July 3. Venkatesh Maha is the director.
In the teaser launched yesterday, there is a dialogue in which the protagonist says his story can’t be told in just one film and that it requires two installments. This led to speculation that Rao Bahadur might have a sequel, but the makers have clarified that there won’t be a second part and that the story will conclude in a single film.
Regarding the dialogue, the director said it fits the situation and can be understood only while watching the film. The makers are hyping the movie as another Baahubali and RRR of Telugu cinema, and the big promises are indeed helping the film grab eyeballs.
