The highly anticipated theatrical trailer for Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth’s pan-India action drama, Coolie, is finally out. Rajini portrays a powerful don in this intense action drama helmed by star director Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Coolie is a gangster drama set against the backdrop of a harbor area. The visuals are grand and crime-ridden, typical of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s crime world. Rajini’s style and swag as he flips the beedi on his lips and his quirky last shot are sure to leave Thalaivar fans elated. Anirudh Ravichander’s racy score, dominated by the English rap song, adds to the vibe and the world the trailer is set in. The production values by Sun Pictures are top-class, as expected.

Lokesh maintains the intrigue by not revealing their characters much.
Coolie is gearing up for a massive global release on August 14 as an Independence Day treat. Even though the film is locking horns with Hrithik Roshan and NTR’s War 2 at the box office, the initial trends in India and overseas are quite positive for Coolie, setting the stage for an epic clash.
