Kollywood actor Jayam Ravi will be seen next in the big picture Ponniyin Selvan-2. Directed by Maniratnam, the epic period action drama will hit screens on April 28, 2023. Alongside, his recent movie Agilan didn’t fare well at the box office.
An interesting buzz is doing rounds on social media that the actor’s 32nd movie will be helmed by a debutant director. The rumour is that the movie will be made on a budget of more than Rs. 100 crores. Another surprising buzz is that the Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman will work for this high-budget biggie, which will be released in 18 languages.
Noted production house Vels Film International to bankroll this biggie. The shooting is expected to begin this Summer. However, we need to be patient for some more days to know the truth. Until then keep checking this page for more latest updates.
