Mollywood actor Prithviraj Sukumaran is currently shooting for Mahesh Babu and SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi. Meanwhile, the actor has completed filming for his Bollywood film Daarya, directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan in the other lead role.
According to the latest update, Kareena and Prithviraj’s crime thriller will hit the big screens on September 18, 2026. The team launched a BTS video to announce the film’s release date. Since the movie marks the coming together of two of the finest actors, there is good anticipation among the audience.
Daayra marks Meghna Gulzar’s third collaboration with Jungle Pictures, following the critically acclaimed Talvar and Raazi. Pen Marudhar of Pen Studios will distribute the film.
