Bollywood star Ajay Devgn was recently seen in the romantic comedy entertainer De De Pyaar De 2. It is the sequel to the 2019 hit film De De Pyaar De. The first installment starred Rakul Preet Singh and Tabu as the female leads and revolved around a middle-aged NRI who falls for a woman almost half his age. The sequel features Rakul Preet Singh as the female lead and highlights the dynamic between the protagonist and the female lead’s family.
The second part couldn’t achieve the same level of success as the first film and is now set for its OTT debut. De De Pyaar De 2 will be available for streaming from January 9 on Netflix. The OTT platform disclosed the streaming date in its “Coming Soon” section. The OTT window is eight weeks.
Directed by Anshul Sharma and written by Luv Ranjan, De De Pyaar De 2 also stars Madhavan, Javed Jaaferi, and Gautami Kapoor in pivotal roles. Bhushan Kumar, Krishna Kumar, Luv Ranjan, and Ankur Garg jointly produced the film under the banners of T-Series Films and Luv Films.
