Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi’s 50th film, Maharaja, will be released on June 14, 2024. The trailer was recently launched and received a decent response, especially for Vijay Sethupathi’s transformation. To promote the film’s Telugu version as well, the makers held a press meet today in Hyderabad.
The news is that Maharaja has completed its censor formalities and obtained a U/A certificate. The film’s runtime is fixed at 142 minutes (2 hours and 22 minutes), which is considered suitable for its genre. Early feedback is positive, and fans anticipate a strong comeback from Vijay Sethupathi.
Directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, known for his work in Kurangu Bommai, the movie boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Anurag Kashyap, Mamtha Mohandas, and Natty. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the music for the film. Maharaja is a collaboration between Passion Studios, The Route, and Think Studios.
