Nani’s recent theatrical outing, The Paradise, is now streaming on Netflix in multiple languages. After its theatrical run, the movie arrived on OTT, and many people criticised it for the way it was filmed. But the surprise is that it has topped the charts.
Yes, The Paradise reached the top of the charts soon after its release and secured the No. 1 position on Netflix’s ‘Top 10 Movies in India’ list. This is quite common for new releases, but what makes this interesting is that a film that faced heavy criticism has managed to reach the top. Where it will end up on the global Top 10 charts remains to be seen.
Srikanth Odela directed the film, which was produced by SLV Cinemas. Kayadu Lohar is the female lead, while Mohan Babu plays the antagonist. The film also features Raghav Juyal, Sonali Kulkarni, Sampoornesh Babu and others. Anirudh Ravichander composed the music.
