Star actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu will be seen in and as Shaakuntalam. Directed by Gunasekhar, the movie is currently in the post-production phase. Dev Mohan is playing King Dushyant in this mythological drama.

The makers have released the first look poster of Dev Mohan on the occasion of his birthday. He looks charming and valiant as a king in the poster, which showcases him riding a horse in forest.

The film has Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Gautami, Aditi Balan, and Ananya Nagalla in pivotal roles. Produced by Neelima Guna under Gunaa Teamworks, the movie has Manisharma’s music. Scheduled to release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi, the film’s release date will be announced soon.
