Devara’s 2-day AP, Ceded share; NTR mania rules the box office

Released on September 27 amid sky-high expectations and an unprecedented pre-release buzz, NTR’s Devara is having a dream run at the box office worldwide. The film ended up collecting a sensational Rs 171 crore on its opening day, setting non-RRR records in several key markets.

The NTR storm hasn’t dipped an inch on day 2, as the film registered solid numbers at the box office. As per the film’s PR team, Devara had an excellent hold at the ticket counters and ended up collecting a cool Rs 9.18 crore share in Andhra Pradesh and Ceded regions on Saturday. The film’s total 2-day share in Andhra and Ceded regions amounts to a whopping Rs 44.07 crore (excl GST).

Ceded – Rs 14.17 Cr
Vizag – Rs 7.15 Cr
East – Rs 4.88 Cr
West – Rs 4.08 Cr
Krishna – Rs 3.97 Cr
Guntur – Rs 7.09 Cr
Nellore – Rs 2.73 Cr

Total 2-day AP and Ceded share – Rs 44.07 Cr

Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara also features Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles. Produced by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, Mikkilineni Sudhakar, and Kosaraju Hari Krishna, the high-budget pan-India action drama has a soundtrack composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
