Ravindra Benerjee Muppaneni of Loukya Entertainments, who bankrolled the National Award-winning film Colour Photo and Bedurulanka 2012, recently presented Dhandoraa, a rural entertainer. The film features Shivaji, Navdeep, Nandu, Ravikrishna, Manika Chikkala, Mounika Reddy, Bindu Madhavi, Radhya, Aditi Bhavaraju, and others in key roles.
Directed by Murali Kanth, the movie received good reviews from critics. The makers were appreciated for tackling caste discrimination in a sensible manner, while the actors were lauded for their solid portrayals. However, it couldn’t leave an impact at the box office due to the crowded window. Now Dhandoraa is set for its OTT debut. According to the latest update, the movie will be available for streaming starting from January 14.
Amazon Prime Video acquired the post-theatrical streaming rights, and there is a surprise. Not only in Telugu, but Dhandoraa will also be available in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages from the said date. Dhandoraa has a very good chance to make its mark in the digital space, given its promising content and availability in major languages.
