Tamil superstar Dhanush marks his 52nd film and 4th directorial venture with the family drama Idly Kottu. Nithya Menen plays the female lead, and the film released today in Tamil and Telugu (titled Idly Kottu).
Netflix has acquired the streaming rights for the film. The OTT premiere date is expected to be announced in about a month. Notably, the streamer had previously secured Dhanush’s Vaathi/Sir, released in 2023.
The film also features Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Raj Kiran, and others in key roles. Produced under Dawn Pictures and Wunderbar Films, the movie is supported by GV Prakash Kumar’s music, adding to the overall charm of this star-studded family drama.
