Dheeraj Mogilineni is set to present another content-rich film with Summer Holidays, directed by Srikar. The movie revolves around a child’s summer vacation experience in his maternal grandmother’s village. Master Rohan and Master Arun play the lead roles.
At the trailer launch event, Dheeraj Mogilineni said, “I wasn’t sure if Jaya Sudha garu would do the film. She instantly agreed to come on board. Vasuki garu was the first choice for the mother role. I felt highly connected to her scenes. Many asked us why we were making a children’s film. But we wanted to tell a genuine story.”
He added, “Other industries are making these kinds of films, and we are appreciating them. I’m super confident about Summer Holidays, and this will be an answer to those asking for such films from Tollywood. You will all recollect nostalgic memories. This movie will connect with everyone. There is absolutely no violence or beheading scene.”
Dheeraj Mogilineni continued, “You will not even feel bored for five minutes. It will bring you closer to your family. We have been enjoying star-led films, but, for a change, please give this movie a chance. The success of this film will bring more talented directors and actors to the industry.”
“Many are asking me why the film is not being released during the summer season. Venkatesh garu’s Sankranthi, Nani garu’s Dasara, and SV Krishna Reddy garu’s Ugadhi didn’t release during their respective festivals. Like those films, we will also achieve superhit status. The movie will be a firecracker for Diwali,” concluded Dheeraj Mogilineni.
The film also stars Baby Kushi, Rajeev Kanakala, Harshavardhan, Ramana Bhargav, Harshini Koduri, and Mahesh Chintala in supporting roles. Summer Holidays releases on November 6.
