Dhurandhar 2: Telugu Audiences Have a Special Request for Aditya Dhar

Just a few days remain for the release of the much-awaited Bollywood sequel Dhurandhar: The Revenge. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film stars Ranveer Singh in the lead and carries strong expectations across industries.

The makers yesterday unveiled the Telugu trailer. The response from Telugu audiences has been positive, especially for the dubbing and dialogues. The Telugu dubbing work has reportedly been handled by Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad.

However, Telugu audiences now have a clear request for director Aditya Dhar. Since the film is planned as a pan-Indian release, fans are asking the makers to keep the songs in their original Hindi version instead of dubbing them into Telugu.

The reason behind this request is the poor experience audiences had with several dubbed songs in the past. Improper translation, weak mixing, and altered meanings have often diluted the impact of songs in dubbed versions. Because of this, many feel it would be better if only the dialogues are dubbed into Telugu while the songs remain in Hindi.

It remains to be seen whether the makers will consider this request or proceed with Telugu-dubbed songs. Dhurandhar 2 is set to release on March 19, 2026. Premiere shows will begin from 5 PM on March 18, and advance bookings have already opened in several locations.
