Bollywood mega-blockbuster Dhurandhar, headlined by Ranveer Singh, is set to have its digital premiere this week on Netflix. South Indian fans are eagerly waiting for the dubbed versions to drop, and the movie is expected to create massive records in the digital space.
Surprisingly, Dhurandhar is still drawing crowds to theatres and is earning over Rs. 1 crore nett each day. The movie has so far collected Rs. 890 crores nett in India and is inching closer to the prestigious Rs. 900 crore club. Dhurandhar is on the verge of scripting history, as it is set to become the first Hindi film to achieve this feat.
The fact that Dhurandhar is posting impressive numbers so deep into its run, despite multiple new releases, highlights the cult status the film has achieved in such a short span.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar also stars Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Madhavan, Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Danish Pandor, Rakesh Bedi, and others in key roles. Shashwat Sachdev has composed the music.
