NTR is currently working on a full-blown action entertainer, Dragon, directed by Prashanth Neel. Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas was initially roped in to play the antagonist, but he quit the project as he wasn’t interested in allocating multiple call sheets, which could affect his Malayalam lineup.
The news came as a shock to NTR fans who were eager to see them together. The latest buzz suggests that Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor may replace Tovino Thomas in this big-ticket entertainer. The makers are said to be keen on casting Shahid for the role.
Shahid is a fantastic actor who has delivered terrific performances in the past, and if this news turns out to be true, it will be a feast for audiences.
