She released the announcement teaser which looks interesting. She appears in the role of the powerful woman Indira Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India. Her looks and expressions are stunning in the teaser. The teaser ends with an extraordinary dialogue of Kangana saying whether the US President knows that everyone calls her ‘Sir’ or not.
Emergency is a story of the true events that unfolded in 1975. The film chronicles incidents that took place under the leadership of Indira Gandhi, one of the most Powerful Women in Indian history.
Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Bhumika Chawla and others played key roles in this movie. Ritesh Shah is taking care of the screenplay and dialogues of the movie. Renu Pitti and Kangana Ranaut are producing this movie under the Manikarnika Films banner. The movie will hit screens in 2023.
