Suparn Verma’s Hindi courtroom drama Haq, featuring Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam in the lead roles, is gearing up for its digital release. The film is set to premiere on Netflix on January 2, 2026.
The film opened to positive critical response but could not make a strong impact at the box office. With its OTT release, all eyes are now on how it performs among streaming audiences.
Haq is inspired by the landmark 1985 Shah Bano case. Backed by producers Vineet Jain, Vishal Gurnani, Juhi Parekh Mehta and Harman Baweja, the film has music composed by Vishal Mishra.
