It’s well known that actor Rana Daggubati will be joining forces with director Teja for his next project, Rakshasa Raja. The duo had earlier teamed up with each other for the 2017 political drama, Nene Raju Nene Mantri, and Rakshasa Raja marks their second collaboration.
Now, the latest buzz reveals that Teja has penned a gritty period gangster drama set in the 1930s British India. Furthermore, Rana will be seen as a gangster in this high budget entertainer. Rana will sport a lean look and a unique hairdo reminiscent of the bygone era.
Apparently, the film will not chronicle India’s freedom struggle, but may only have a few glimpses of the independence movement. More details about the film’s cast and crew will be announced soon. Stay tuned for further updates.
