We have recently reported that Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is the 7th Indian film to cross the 10 million mark at the North American box office. The movie is still raking in decent numbers in the North American region, signifying the brand image of Karan Johar in the overseas markets.
These days, having a two to three-week run in theatres is a huge achievement, and RRKPK amassed nearly 30K$ from North America on its 51st day. As of now, the movie has collected a mammoth 10.5 million from this region, which equals to 87 crores in Indian currency.
We need to see Whether or not Karan will direct movies regularly henceforth. The big-budget film also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhury, and Ronit Roy in supporting roles. Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios jointly produced RRKPK.
