It’s been recently reported that a film journalist and critic named Prabhu is making a film, titled Wrong Gopal Varma, based on eccentric filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma’s lifestyle and mindset. Comedian Shakalaka Shankar is playing the titular role in the movie.
The latest update is that Wrong Gopal Varma’s shoot has been stalled abruptly following the arrest of controversial film critic Mahesh Kathi for his post on Lord Shri Ram. Several crucial scenes were being picturised on Shakalaka Shankar and Mahesh Kathi for the last few days in a building in Film Nagar, Hyderabad. There is no clarity on when Mahesh Kathi will be set free.
