The superhero film HanuMan, starring Teja Sajja and Amritha Aiyer in the lead roles, became a historical blockbuster. With over 300 crores gross, HanuMan is Tollywood’s biggest Sankranthi hit. Prasanth Varma directed this captivating film, which was also a mighty blockbuster in the digital space.
Recently, the movie had its world television premiere on Zee Telugu. The latest update is that HanuMan fetched a TRP of 10.26 on its first telecast. Recently, hit films are getting a below-par response on small screens, and considering this trend, HanuMan did pretty well. As HanuMan was viewed by a wide range of audiences in theatres and OTT, a few expected a low TRP, but the superhero film fared above expectations.
Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Vinay Rai, Get Up Srinu, and Vennela Kishore played vital roles. Niranjan Reddy produced the film under the banner of Primeshow Entertainment. HanuMan is the first movie in the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Venture (PVCU). Currently, the director is busy with the pre-production works of his next film, which will be with Ranveer Singh. This movie with the Bollywood star hero will also be a part of PVCU.
