The highly anticipated Tollywood epic Kalki 2898 AD, starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone, is currently in production. Recently, the team traveled to Italy for a song shoot. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film is scheduled for a grand release in cinemas on May 9, 2024.
In the latest development, Disha Patani, who is also part of the cast, has returned to Delhi after completing her shoot in Italy. She confirmed her return to India on her Instagram profile. This suggests that the filming of the song she was involved in has concluded. However, it remains to be confirmed whether the rest of the team remains in Italy or has also returned to India.
The movie features legendary actor Kamal Haasan as the antagonist, alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Rajendra Prasad, Pasupathy, and others in prominent roles. Produced by the renowned banner Vyjayanthi Movies, the film’s soundtracks are being meticulously crafted by Santhosh Narayanan.
