Gaayapadda Simham marks Tharun Bhascker’s next release as a lead actor. Directed by debutant Kasyap Sreenivas, the quirky comedy grabbed attention with its entertaining trailer, which was released last night. With its May 1 release approaching, the film is back in the headlines after distributor Dil Raju revealed an interesting detail about the story.
Speaking at the trailer launch event, Dil Raju said the film features references to five stars – Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, Siddharth, Yash, and Vijay Deverakonda – across five different comedic episodes in the second half. He added that if these episodes click, the film could match the comedy level of Jathi Ratnalu. This revelation has raised curiosity among audiences about how these star references are incorporated.
JD Chakravarthy will be seen in a negative role, while Manasa Choudhary and Faria Abdullah play the female leads. The film also features Vishnu Oi, Harshavardhan, and Subhalekha Sudhakar. It is produced by Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina, Bhanu Kiran Pratapa, Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni, and Umesh Bansal under Saptaswa Media Works, POV Stories, and Zee Studios, with presentation by Pavan Sadineni.
