Tharun Bhascker is coming up with a quirky entertainer titled Gayapadda Simham. Kasyap Sreenivas is the writer and director for this film, produced jointly by Kalyana Chakravarthy Manthina, Bhanu Kiran Pratapa, Vijay Krishna Lingamaneni, and Umesh Bansal under Saptaswa Media Works, POV Stories, and Zee Studios. Manasa Choudhary and Faria Abdullah play the female leads.
The film is about a young man who has dreamed of moving to the USA since his childhood. His wish finally comes true, but his happiness doesn’t last long as President Donald Trump plays a spoilsport by announcing the largest deportation operation in US history.
Tharun Bhascker and Manasa Choudhary love each other, but the girl’s father puts a condition that he will marry off his daughter to him only if he moves to America. However, Trump becomes a villain in hero’s life, as he makes it tougher for Indians to visit the USA. As his plans are spoiled, protagonist decides to take revenge on Trump.
The story highlights Trump’s mass deportation policies, a topic that is relatable to today’s youth. The director seems to have packed with the film with fun and intense moments. JD Chakravarthy appears as the antagonist, while Subhaleka Sudhakar and Faria leave their mark. The movie releases on May 1.
