Nandamuri Balakrishna recently sustained a minor leg injury and was admitted to AIG Hospital in Hyderabad. After examining him, doctors recommended a minor surgical procedure.

According to reports, Gopichand Malineni, the director of NBK111, performed a special homam today for Balakrishna’s speedy recovery. Around 18 priests participated in the ritual, which was held at Kateamma Temple in Kambalipura, Huskur, Bengaluru. A few hardcore Balakrishna fans were also present.

Meanwhile, Balakrishna is expected to be discharged from the hospital today, according to reports. He is likely to take a few weeks to recover before returning to the sets. In the meantime, he has reportedly instructed the makers to continue shooting with the rest of the cast.

The makers are targeting a December release, although the film could be delayed due to Balakrishna’s injury. More clarity is expected in the coming days.
