Tamil star Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo has become the fastest Tamil film to enter the five hundred crore club. The Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial is expected to surpass Tamil cinema’s highest grosser, Rajinikanth’s 2.0, by the end of its full run at the global box office.
Before Leo’s release, the makers’ efforts to organize a massive audio launch event at Chennai’s Nehru Indoor Stadium went in vain. As a result, Vijay couldn’t participate in the movie’s promotions. Now, the latest buzz in the Tamil film circles reveals that Leo’s makers are in plans to organize a grand success meet at Nehru Indoor Stadium on November 1.
Apparently, the movie’s unit has approached the Periyamedu Police seeking police protection for the event. If finalized, Vijay will also be attending this much awaited event. Stay tuned for the formal announcement.
