After Shruthi Haasan backing out of the big budget film Sangamitra, there was a huge suspense as to who will do the titular role. So many names were taken but nothing was finalized.
But looks like the makers have had enough of star names and roped in a relative newcomer Disha Patani of Loafer and M S Dhoni fame as the heroine in this film.
An excited Disha took to Twitter and posted “Really very excited for #Sangamitra 🙏 Can’t wait to start shooting for this wonderful film”. Sangamithra also stars Jayam Ravi and Arya in lead roles.
