Prithviraj Sukumaran is busy promoting his upcoming film The Goat Life. The actor is currently in Hyderabad for the Telugu promotions and is giving multiple interviews. During an interview, Prithviraj was asked if he had seen the Telugu films Bheemla Nayak, God Father, and Hunt, which were remakes of Malayalam movies Ayappanum Koshiyum, Lucifer and Mumbai Police, respectively.
Prithviraj said he isn’t getting much time to catch films since he is directing a film. The actor stated that he saw some portions of God Father and Bheemla Nayak. Prithviraj Sukumaran was surprised when he learned that his movie Mumbai Police was remade in Telugu as Hunt. He said that he didn’t know that Mumbai Police was remade here.
Prithviraj Sukumaran said, “I am assuming we are soon getting into an age where remakes will no longer be relevant. Now, movies are being dubbed into multiple languages. There is no point in remaking The Goat Life as it is releasing in different languages simultaneously. I believe remakes won’t happen very frequently from hereon.”
