Famous Telugu comedian Vennela Kishore has turned the protagonist for the spy comedy entertainer Chaari 111, which is scheduled to hit the big screens this Friday. The movie is directed by TG Keerthi Kumar.
In a recent interview with a leading newspaper, Vennela Kishore revealed that they initially planned to release the film on OTT directly. Vennela Kishore said that he is a busy artist who won’t have time to do promotions, and hence, the team planned to go ahead with the OTT release.
As an OTT release won’t require intense promotions, Vennela Kishore green-lit the project. However, due to the rapid modifications in the OTT business models, the team was left with no option but to go for a theatrical release. Samyukta played the female lead. The director’s wife, Aditi, bankrolled this project.
