Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is taking a break from his signature mass action entertainers with Irumudi, an emotional drama directed by Shiva Nirvana. The film is all set to release in Telugu and Tamil on August 21, 2026.
The makers today unveiled Irumudi Kattu, the first devotional song from the film, dedicated to Lord Ayyappa. Composer GV Prakash Kumar had earlier revealed that the album would feature two songs on Lord Ayyappa, and this marks the first of them.
Composed in his signature style, the track has struck a chord with listeners for its soothing devotional flavour, while Ravi Teja impresses with his energetic screen presence as an Ayyappa devotee.
Ananthu lends his soulful voice to the song, and the lyrics by Shiva Nirvana and Kalyan Chakravarthy beautifully complement its spiritual essence. Overall, Irumudi Kattu makes for a promising musical start to the film’s album.
Priya Bhavani Shankar plays the female lead, while Baby Nakshatra will be seen as Ravi Teja’s daughter. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Irumudi is expected to intensify its promotional campaign in the coming weeks.
