The expected trend is now visible, with Irumudi performing better than Toxic in hourly BookMyShow sales. At the time of reporting, Toxic was clocking around 7.6K tickets, while Irumudi was ahead with 12.12K tickets. For a Telugu film competing against a major pan-Indian release, this is a significant development.
With strong occupancy continuing across the Telugu states, Irumudi is now heading towards the Rs. 200 crore milestone. The film’s sustained momentum despite the arrival of Toxic is turning into one of its biggest box-office talking points.
