Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, which was slated for a Pongal 2025 release, has been postponed due to censor issues. The matter is currently in court, and there is no clarity on the film’s release date.
As per the latest buzz, the film’s production house, KVN Productions, is considering withdrawing the case from court and sending the film to the Revising Committee (RC). The makers are said to be planning this move as the legal proceedings may further delay the release.
However, even approaching the RC may not offer an immediate solution, as the process itself takes time. For now, there is no tentative release date, which comes as disappointing news for fans. Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, and Mamitha Baiju play key roles.
