Leaving millions of her fans heartbroken, yesteryear heroine and former Tamil Nadu CM J Jayalalithaa breathed her last on this day, in 2016. Fans across Tamil Nadu are observing the stalwart actress turned politician’s 4th anniversary.
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, who is reprising Jayalalithaa in the upcoming Tamil-Hindi biopic, Thalaivi, paid floral tributes to Amma. Kangana took to Twitter and tweeted a picture and hailed Jayaa as a revolutionary mother who changed the way the world sees actresses. “We respect femininity,” Kangana said.
