Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Teen Maar, directed by Jayanth C Paranjee and produced by Bandla Ganesh, was a massive flop at the box office. Though it wasn’t a success, there are a few who adore Teen Maar. The film was the official remake of Saif Ali Khan’s Love Aaj Kal. The director shared his views about this romantic drama during a recent interview.
Jayanth said that he could not analyze where the film went wrong. He stated that a few fans were unsatisfied with the movie as the heroine marries another character (played by Sonu Sood) and then returns to the hero. Jayanth said, “I was shocked after listening to what fans stated.”
Jayanth said, “I think Pawan Kalyan’s image became a hurdle for Teen Maar.” He went on to say that the movie’s fate would have been different had either Tarun or Siddharth played the lead role. “Pawan Kalyan immensely liked Love Aaj Kal. Trivikram wrote the Telugu script, and I was the last person to join the project,” concluded Jayanth.
