In a unique feat, Arjun Reddy’s Hindi remake, Kabir Singh, has become the first A-rated Bollywood film to enter the Rs 200 crore club. The film was rated A by the CBFC due to the extreme language and picturization of drug abuse.
Until July 3, Kabir Singh collected Rs 207 crore India nett approximately. The film has also surpassed Salman Khan’s Bharat’s lifetime collections (Rs 197 crore) and is all set to surpass 2019’s top earner Uri: The Surgical Strike (Rs 246 crore) by the end of its full run. Trade analysts are predicting that Kabir Singh may go on to collect Rs 275 crore in its full run.
