Top actress Kajal Aggarwal starred in the period drama Karungaapiyam, which recently made its OTT debut on Amazon Prime Video on a rental basis. Directed by Deekay, the movie failed to perform well at the ticket windows. However, the film is in the news again.
The latest information is that the movie will be released in Telugu as Kajal Karthika. Sri Venkata Sai Films acquired this film’s rights long ago and has now decided to release it in Telugu on July 21, 2023. Surprisingly, promotions have yet to be made to date, and the strange part is that even Kajal didn’t post anything related to this Telugu version.
Kajal Karthika also features Regina Cassandra, Janani, Raiza Wilson (famous from Bigg Boss Tamil), and Iranian actress Noyrika in lead roles. Aadhav Kannadasan, Kalaiyarasan, Yogi Babu, Aditi Ravindranath, TSK, Sherlin Seth, and Lollu Sabha Manohar are the other key actors in the film.
