Kajal Aggarwal-starrer The India Story has finally arrived in Telugu and Tamil on JioHotstar. The makers had originally announced the film for a multilingual theatrical release, but the Telugu and Tamil versions never made it to cinemas, with only the Hindi version getting a theatrical outing. The film did not make much of an impact at the box office.
The Hindi version later made its way to JioHotstar, and now, days later, the Telugu and Tamil versions have also been added to the platform. This gives the film a fresh opportunity to connect with audiences in the two languages that missed its theatrical release. The focus is now on whether the film can find a better response among these OTT audiences.
Directed by Chettan DK, The India Story stars Kajal Aggarwal and Shreyas Talpade in the lead roles, alongside Manish Wadhwa, Murli Sharma, Atul Tiwari, Kamlesh Sawant and others. Sagar B Shinde produced the film, while Mangesh Dhakde composed the soundtrack.
