Mollywood Megastar Mammootty recently came up with the crime thriller Kalamkaval, which was released in cinemas on December 5, 2025. The movie directed by Jithin K. Josh received positive reviews and went on to become a commercial success.
Kalamkaval showcased Mammootty in a negative role and collected more than Rs. 83 crore gross in its lifetime. The movie is now all set for its digital premiere. The latest update reveals that Kalamkaval will be available for streaming from January 16 on Sony LIV.
The movie will stream in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi languages from the said date. Kalamkaval also features Vinayakan, Rajisha Vijayan, Sruthi Ramachandran, and others in prominent roles. Mammootty produced the film under his home banner, Mammootty Kampany, and Mujeeb Majeed handled the music.
