The South Indian Cinematographers Association (SICA) honoured the legendary filmmaker and actor, Kamal Haasan, with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution towards the excellence in Indian cinema. The 10th edition of SICA Awards took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and several celebrities from southern and Hindi film industries attended the event.
Receiving the award, Kamal Haasan thanked his fans for always supporting his efforts to raise the bar in Indian films. Kamal also appreciated the organisers for their generous donations towards the families and children of SICA members.Popular Telugu film star and politician, Nandamuri Balakrishna was given the Best Actor Award for his performance in ‘Legend’.
