Raghava Lawrence is currently busy with the shoot of Kanchana 4. The Kanchana franchise is one of the most celebrated in Indian cinema, and there are solid expectations for the fifth installment.

According to the latest buzz, the film will feature star heroine Nayanthara in a key role. Speculations are rife that she will appear in the film’s flashback portions. However, an official confirmation from the makers is still awaited.

Pooja Hegde and Nora Fatehi play the female leads, and the movie marks Nora Fatehi’s Tamil debut. The film is backed by Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms and Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures. Swaksha Iyer, Devadarshini, and Kamalesh Jagan play supporting roles.
