A fan asked Gnanavel Raja why the team hasn’t given a formal announcement about Kanguva’s cast and crew.
Gnanavel Raja replied, “Recently, a big film was released with top stars in it. The team gave all the official announcements about the cast. But that didn’t help the movie a bit in getting opening day collections.” Many thought that the Kanguva producer indirectly took a dig at Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan. Rajini fans started trolling Gnanavel Raja on X.
In a recent interview, Gnanavel Raja gave clarity about his words. He said, “I was actually referring to a Hindi film named Khel Khel Mein. It didn’t perform well despite having big stars. No one asked me what I really meant. They are framing their own theories.”
