Kantara is one of the most-loved franchises in Indian cinema. Both films turned out to be massive money-spinners at the box office. Headlined and directed by Rishab Shetty, the films are rich in technical values and deeply rooted in Karnataka’s culture.
Following Kantara and its prequel Kantara: Chapter 1, the actor-director had already hinted at another film. In an interview with Variety, Rishab Shetty disclosed that he is simultaneously developing Kantara: Chapter 2 while also working on Jai Hanuman. The actor made it clear that he won’t step away from direction.
“I need to do that. I cannot keep quiet about my directorial. I find peace of mind and happiness when I am at it. I have my team of writers, and we are already working on this film,” said Rishab Shetty.
