Sandalwood movie Kantara has turned out to be a blockbuster hit in all languages. Mega producer Allu Aravind released the movie in Telugu on October 15, 2022.

As the film received an overwhelming response from Telugus, the movie unit organised a tour to meet the audience directly in the theatre. As a part of that, the team went to Tirupati Theater yesterday. The team also went to the Jagadamba Theater in Visakhapatnam.

Rishab Shetty addressed the audience in both locations, expressing his gratitude for the overwhelming support from the Telugu audience. “I did not expect the Telugu audience to enjoy this film so much. It’s exciting to see that the film has collected 45 crores in two weeks and is on its way to crossing the 50 crore mark. Thank you so much for your unconditional support. This film is also doing very well in India. I wish with all my heart that your love lasts forever.”

Renowned producer Allu Aravind also spoke about the film. “The film Kantara has proven that there is no language barrier for the film, only one emotion barrier for the film,” he said. “Bunny Vas came running to me after watching this movie in Kannada and told me that I needed to watch it right away. Why was Bunny Vas acting so excitedly, I wondered? I understood the emotion when I saw the movie. I felt connected to this emotion and thought it would be good to distribute it in Telugu, so we took the opportunity and released it in Telugu.”
