Karthi’s long-delayed film Vaa Vaathiyaar is back in the headlines. Much to the joy of Karthi fans, the makers recently revealed that the film will be released in December. The official announcement has now been made that the movie will hit the big screens on December 5, 2025.
Directed by Nalan Kumarasamy, known for Soodhu Kavvum, the action-comedy entertainer will lock horns with Balakrishna’s much-anticipated Akhanda 2 in the Telugu stages. Karthi plays a quirky cop in the film. Krithi Shetty plays the leading lady.
The first single was released some time back, and it fetched a good response. Sathyaraj, Rajkiran, Anandaraj, Shilpa Manjunath, Karunakaran, G. M. Sundar, Ramesh Thilak, and others play vital roles. Produced by K. E. Gnanavel Raja under the Studio Green banner, the film features music by Santhosh Narayanan.
