For the last few years, hero Karthi has been looking for a solid blockbuster which will bring him back on the success streak. He is currently working on a couple of exciting projects – Kaithi and a thriller with Drishyam’s director Jeethu Joseph.
Interestingly, both the movies are going to release for the two upcoming festivals – Diwali and Pongal. There’s more to the story. While Kaithi will be clashing with Vijay’s Bigil this Diwali, the Karthi-Jeethu Joseph film is going to lock horns with Rajinikanth’s Darbar during the Pongal festive season in January.
Even as he is going through a tough phase in his career, Karthi’s confidence in taking on Tamil Cinema’s two biggest stars is leaving everyone amazed.
