Kollywood hero Karthi and director PS Mithran of Abhimanyudu fame are coming up with an action spy thriller called Sardar. Produced by S Lakshman Kumar under the banner of Prince Pictures, King Nagarjuna Akkineni’s Annapurna Studios will be releasing the movie in Telugu states.
The makers have kickstarted the promotions with a bang by releasing an intriguing teaser. It introduces Karthi as a world-class spy who is on a mission. The teaser shows the actor in 6 different avatars with different identities. As Karthi’s getup suggests, the story is set in different timelines.
Karthi brings freshness to the character with his brilliant portrayal. He is exceptional in different get-ups. PS Mithran wins brownie points for his taking, whereas George C Williams’ camera work is first-class and GV Prakash Kumar’s background score is outstanding. On the whole, the teaser increases curiosity on the movie.
Sardar features Raashi Khanna playing the lead actress, while Rajisha Vijayan and Chunky Panday are the other prominent cast. The movie is getting ready for its theatrical release in Telugu and Tamil for Diwali, 2022.
