Suriya’s Karuppu is going bonkers at the box office. Nearly a decade later, Suriya has scored a commercial hit with this action drama directed by RJ Balaji. In its opening weekend, the film collected close to Rs. 150 crores gross worldwide.

In Tamil Nadu, the movie is enjoying a sensational run. In just three days, Karuppu crossed Rs. 60 crores gross in its home state and is now heading towards the mighty Rs. 100 crore mark. The film is set to become Suriya’s first-ever movie to achieve this massive milestone in Tamil Nadu.

Produced by Dream Warrior Pictures, the film stars Trisha Krishnan, RJ Balaji, Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Anagha Maaya, and others in key roles. Sai Abyankkar composed the music.
